Special Introductory AIKIDO MARTIAL ARTS Class

While new and prospective students are always welcome to attend a free trial class during one of our regular scheduled classes, we are holding a special introductory class on Saturday, May 14, 2011. No experience is required and all are welcome. Please bring a t-shirt and long-fitting pants. No fee is charged for this class. Children's Introductory Class, 10:00 am - 10:50 am
Naka Ima is hosting the special children's introductory Aikido class from 10:00 to 10:50 am. This is a free class for boys and girls between 5 and 12 years old. Participants will be introduced to basic Aikido techniques taught in regular Aikido kids classes, including how to fall and roll safely. The emphasis will be on fitness, safety, and fun.
During the introductory Aikido class, children should wear a t-shirt and loose fitting pants that cover their knees. Reserve a spot for your child today.

Adult Introductory Class, 12 noon - 1:00 pm
This free one-hour class is open to both men and women. No martial arts experience is necessary. Students will receive a gentle, but hands-on introduction to the practice and guiding principles of Aikido. Opportunities to ask questions about the art of Aikido and its practice at Naka Ima will be available. There will also be a short demonstration from more experienced practitioners.
