Naka Ima is moving to Briar Hill-Belgravia neighborhood in Toronto
Effective September 1, 2022, Naka Ima Aikido is moving to its new location at 2489 Dufferin St, Toronto, Ontario M6B 3P9Our new dojo location is on the northeast corner of Dufferin and Castlefield (a few blocks north of Eglinton) in the Briar Hill-Belgravia neighbourhood in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Shaolin Kung Fu: New 10-Week Course Starting August 28, 2020
We will be hosting another 10-week Shaolin Kung Fu course with Shifu Yuan Jing, a 34th-generation Shaolin Warrior Monk at Naka Ima Aikikai beginning on Friday, August 28, 2020. This 10-week course will take place each Friday from 8 - 9 pm.Click for more details on the Shaolin Kung Fu course

Special Adult Intro Martial Arts Class on February 1, 2020

Dirk Müller Sensei Seminar in Toronto: November 22-24, 2019
Naka Ima will be hosting a seminar with Dirk Müller on November 22-24, 2019. Dirk Müller Sensei, 6th dan, started training in Aikido in 1986 and has been running the Shoshin Dojo in Hamburg, Germany since 2004. He is a current student of Seishiro Endo Shihan.Click for more details on the seminar.

Introducing the Naka Ima Karate Club
Starting September 7, 2017, we will be offering karate classes to men and women of all ages. The classes will be taught by Sensei Timothy Mahoney, a Godan (5th-degree black belt) in Traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate.The Naka Ima Karate Club is a member of the International Karate Daigaku Honbu (IKD), an organization composed of 50 regional organizations in 30 countries throughout the world. Naka Ima welcomes Toronto Kenjutsu
Starting November 2016, Toronto Kenjutsu will be training at the Naka Ima dojo. Toronto Kenjutsu, founded in 2007 by Corey Reid, is dedicated to the practice of classical Japanese swordsmanship - specifically the style of Katori Shinto Ryu as taught by Master Sugino Yukihiro.Click for Toronto Kenjutsu practice schedule
